Note: For payments using Venmo or Paypal, the transaction fee will not be refunded.
Quotes
Once the booking form has been submitted, and after the specified date and time is confirmed available and all other booking details are made clear, a quote will be sent to the provided email address. Once accepted, quotes count as formal booking subject to the cancellation and rescheduling policies specified above.
Reservation
Minimum time slots are one hour. Requested time slots will not be guaranteed until payment is made in full unless specific arrangements have been made prior to the inception of the project. Recorded media will not be delivered until payment is made in full.
For live concert bookings, the “preconcert” additional charge reserves one hour of additional time prior to booking start time. This allows for doors to open, rehearsing, and concert setup. Note: without a preconcert hour, you might not be allowed to enter the hall until your concert starts. For recording sessions and hall rentals, early entry is not guaranteed.
Bookings start and end at the specified time (with the exception of a preconcert hour). An overage of more than ten minutes past booking end time will incur an additional full hour of charges at rates initially specified (this applies only to the booked activity; informally hanging out afterwards is acceptable as long as no reservations exist immediately afterward). Please keep this in mind when deciding the booking duration.

You are also welcome to schedule an appointment with one of our concert technicians. They will be happy to meet with you and adjust your chosen piano to your liking prior to recording time (advance notice is required).

Unless storage media is provided (i.e. flash drive or memory card), all recorded materials will be sent online. We can also upload recordings that were not already livestreamed to the Mumeneer YouTube channel with your desired privacy setting.

If you want multiple video sessions to look the same (i.e. for editing purposes), you must specify this during the booking process so we can mark everything and restore the previous setup. Please keep in mind that Klavierhaus is primarily a piano store, therefore pianos may be sold or rented out at any time.

The audience capacity is 60 for solo piano, 50 if there are 1-2 additional simultaneous instruments, or 45 if there are 3 or more additional simultaneous instruments. There are 70 chairs available in the hall, however the above figures are listed to account for walk-ins.
Food and drink are allowed in the hall as long as everything remains clean. There are a few trash cans throughout the hall for this purpose. For receptions, we ask that the host do the cleaning and bring their own trash bags.
